There are many programs out there that sells you a promise. An unrealistic promise - that you will pick up all the skills and knowledge to become a data scientist, just by watching a series of videos, or attending an intensive 12-week bootcamp. We know it’s unrealistic, because we run one of these bootcamps!
The knowledge base for a data scientist spans a broad range of disciplines. Without being exhaustive, this base includes statistics, computer science, business strategy, economics, behavioral psychology, optimization, coding, computer networking, and databases. Each of these disciplines has pre-requisites.
- To learn coding, you have to understand software, command-line interfaces, text editors, compilers, shell scripts, and so on.
- To learn statistical modeling, you have to understand inference, statistical significance, probability, and statistical adjustments.
That’s why many students get frustrated and lost when trying to self-learn data science. Instructors don't have time in the tight schedules to start from the beginning; and students lack the pre-requisites to learn the advanced materials.
HELP IS HERE!
Our instructors developed the DATA 101 seminar to address this gap. The two-day seminar covers everything you need in order to learn data science and advanced analytics.
This is not one of those whirlwind tours of the entire field which confuse you more with piles of jargon left unexplained. This course gives you real skills that you need in order to understand the materials in a data science and analytics curriculum.
We position you to be the Star on Day 1 of your data science training.
